Appointment Details

Each doctor has his or her own consulting times, but the surgery is open between 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday - Friday. We allow patients to book appointments up to four weeks in advance. Please specify to the receptionist whether your appointment is urgent or routine so it can be dealt with appropriately.

Patients requiring urgent treatment will be seen on the day, but it may not be with your preferred doctor. (Please see the 'Triage' tab for further information). Chapel house patients may be asked to go to one of our other branches to be seen.

Confirm your appointment

If you have been asked to confirm your appointmetn before visting the practice, please fill in the form below and enter your name and to which clinic you are coming

Please do not ask for a doctor to call unless the patient is too ill or infirm to come to the surgery. Remember that the doctor can see four patients in the time it takes to make one visit and there are better facilities for examination and treatment in the surgery. If the patient has a temperature or a rash, coming to the surgery will do no harm – if there is the possibility that the patient has an infectious illness the receptionist can arrange for a safe waiting area. Please notify them immediately upon arrival.

Except in the case of acute emergencies all visit requests must be in by 10 a.m. on the day that the visit is required. Please be prepared to give some details so that the visiting doctor can assess priorities. The doctor may ring you if it seems that an alternative to a visit might be appropriate.

We also offer a daily triage service for issues of an urgent nature. Reception will ask for a convenient contact number and doctor will ring you back. If doctor feels it is necessary, the patient will be asked to come to one of our surgeries to be seen on the same day. If it is less urgent, a future follow-up will be arranged. Unfortunately, you may not be seen by the doctor of your choice. Often, doctor is able to deal with your problem over the telephone.
